Was a great base for weekend. Perfectly clean hotel, services were friendly and location was lovely and incredible close to the sea. Location: the property was really close to Blue lake from Melbourne and the beach / port and town centre. Also, it was 2 miles from a performing arts theater.
Some of the staff were nasty.

The motel we stayed in was a great value for the price. The staff was outstandingly friendly and accommodating, and happily offered advice on things to do and places to eat in the area. The room was quite spacious, and we appreciated having a microwave and electric blanket. We also liked the retro theme of the motel, which added to the quirky charm of our stay.
One downside of the motel was the loud heater, which was a little distracting when trying to get a good night's sleep. the tap water was not enjoyable to drink, but this seemed to be an issue with the local water supply and not the fault of the motel.

We loved the vintage appeal of this hotel and how they have retained most of its original character. The unit was spotless and comfortable, making it an excellent value for money. Additionally, the motel grounds are quite spacious, and we had no trouble parking our car. The hotel's location, in the centre, made it easy for us to explore the city and visit the Portland Theater.
Liked everything.
